Welcome to Kenosha Community Aid, a mutual aid forum created in response to COVID-19. This is a place for people living or working in the Kenosha community to connect and communicate—a place where those with extra resources to share during this time of hardship can find others in need of those resources, and vice versa.
To get started, create an account either with a new username and password or by connecting your Google or Facebook account. Once you’ve joined our community, you can create your own forum posts to offer or request food, supplies, childcare, and other needs. Check out our home page for our full list of aid categories, and post in the Forum Feedback thread if your need or offering doesn't fit into any of those categories.
Make sure to include the following in any new post:
A clear description of your need or offering
Your contact information
Any other important information like time-sensitivity, compensation, or related resources
You can also comment on others' posts, whether to ask questions, volunteer to help, or coordinate with others with similar needs. Please keep all discussions civil and remember that we're all in this together.
If you have any questions for the forum organizers or other members of the community, post them in the Questions & Answers category.
If you are posting on behalf of a nonprofit organization, you may want to introduce your nonprofit in the Nonprofit Introductions category to give other community members a sense for what role your organization serves in the community.
